The developer, once a part of Infinity Ward Respawn Entertainment, is back with a new 30-second trailer for its upcoming title, Titanfall 2. The trailer includes of some never-before-seen footage, along with some information on the game’s storyline. You can check it out here.
When Respawn Entertainment released its first title, Titanfall, in 2014 expectations were quite high, as the developer had promised fans a title that would provide them with unlimited entertainment. Things did not turn out as planned though. The game got mixed reviews, with some calling it "incomplete" due to the absence of a single-player campaign.
Thing are not as bad for Titanfall 2 — at least for now. The developers have already said that the sequel will feature an intense action-packed single-player campaign. The first trailer for the game, released a few months ago, featured some intense scenes including a look at the player’s character, Jack Cooper, and his trusted titan, BT-7274.
It seems as though the game’s campaign will feature a buddy system, which we have seen in titles such as the Last of Us and Metal Gear Solid Phantom Pain. It's refreshing to see that developer is listening to the fans and making amends for what went did wrong with Titanfall.
Unlike the last time, the developer will also release the new title across all platforms. Titanfall 2 will then be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PC on October 28, 2016. With Infinity Ward's Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, it’ll be fun to see which developer takes the throne.
