Pokémon GO has had problems since the day it launched — be it technical or graphical. It has been over a month now and the issues are still there. Hence, many have taken to Junichi Masuda's website to express their issues. But why him, seriously?
Junichi Masuda was only responsible for the design and music of Pokémon GO and that’s it. He just added a support page for Pokémon GO on his blog where players could comment. Recently, he made it clear that all queries on the augmented-reality game are none of his concern by suspending the comments section of his site.
Game Freak Co-founder Junichi Masuda was bombarded with tons of questions regarding the game — questions he couldn't answer. Simply because he is not behind the game Niantic is. All queries and comments should be directed toward the developer.
He is busy with the upcoming Nintendo 3DS games, Pokémon Sun and Moon, slated to release on November 18. They will be the latest titles in the mainstream Pokémon series, and will also feature never-before-seen critters in the Alola region. Game Freak has also taken a new direction with both games — eliminating gym leaders and replacing them with the Island Challenge. There has also been major graphical improvements that fans of the series can easily recognize.
In the end, Pokémon GO is in the responsibility of Niantic and Junichi Masuda has nothing to do with it. Maybe once he gets done with Pokémon Sun and Moon we might see him get involved in Pokémon GO. Honestly speaking, Niantic could surely use some expert advice on how to make things easier for the company and fans.
