Square Enix has released another World of Wonder trailer for Final Fantasy XV, and this one focuses on the creatures in the game along with all the beautiful environments that we will get to see once the final build is out. One thing we can say for certain is that, judging by the trailer, the game has a lot of sights to see.
The music for the trailer is done by Florence and The Machine, who were also behind another video in which Florence Welch sang “Stand By Me.” The video starts off within a forest where, from at a distance, we can see a dragon-type creature; it appears to be an indication that the game will feature dragons at some point. And what goes on to support this is that Episode Duscae also had certain dragon-related materials, which you could pick up while on the wild plains.
The most prominent creature we first see in the trailer looks like a griffon, as it could also be a cockatrice that appears quite real if you ask us. Frogs, Unicorn-like creatures, Crocodiles with wings, and coeurls, are just the tip of the iceberg when compared with huge ferocious monsters such as catoblepasses, behemoths, and sea snakes. And just to make it even harder for you to digest, think about what will happen once night falls and all you can see are red glowing eyes surrounding you from a distance.
The new trailer does an amazing job in highlighting the wildlife we will get to see in Final Fantasy XV, and also the beautiful landscapes. A game that has been 10 years in the making is expected to have something extraordinary, making it rise above all the titles of this genre, and we believe this gorgeous trailer has perfectly displayed the unique side of the game, exactly what we were looking for.
Final Fantasy XV is ready to release on September 30 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $59.99. A season pass is available for the game, and it will cost you $84.99 if you get it digitally with Final Fantasy XV as a bundle, or for $24.99 if you wish to buy it separately.
