The latest update for augmented-reality game, Pokémon GO, has finally brought back the battery-saving mode on iOS. The nearby tracking system has also been improved and is now better than before.
Niantic had completely removed the battery-saving mode from all iOS devices, saying the devices were having and the mode is now back after the fix. Android users, on the other hand, never faced such issues.
The major change this time is the return of the nearby tracking feature in the game. It has a completely new arrangement now called Sightings. The feature is still being tested by the company so users can expect some glitches. The ability to track down – how far or near a critter is – is still missing, but good news is that Niantic is working on that too as we speak.
Future updates may give rise to Generation II Pokémon along with different team leaders from Team Mystic, Team Valor and Team Instinct. Although visuals have been added to Spark, Blanche and Candela, the developer still needs to add them into the game so players can learn from their respective team leaders.
If you are an iOS device owner, let us know how you feel about the battery-saving feature finally making a return. We turned it on as soon as we saw it appear in the Settings tab. Now all there is left to do is find out if it works the same way or if Niantic has changed something.
