World of Final Fantasy, an upcoming RPG by Square Enix, has received four more mirages: Siren, Ahriman, Acho and Cockatrice. You would need to stack these on your head, while on some you would have to stand on if you wish to make the best use of them. Although the whole idea sounds crazy, but trust us it works.
If you have played some of the mainstream Final Fantasy games then you must have come across Siren. One of her most prominent display of power was in Final Fantasy VIII. This mirage focuses on damaging enemies while also attacking them in a manner that could make them unable to cast any magic spells. It’s good to see her in World of Final Fantasy — one mirage we would definitely have with us throughout the game.
Ahriman is a recurring enemy in the series, whether the games be mainstream or spinoffs. Its most famous attack involves shooting beams from its eyes, and in some games also casting status effects on characters. Its other names are Floating Eye, Big Eye, Evil Eye and Floating Death.
Cockatrice seems to be the cutest in the game, but also probably the strongest. We see it cast a fire spell at the enemy, while also having the ability to charge a character’s weapon. These birds have always been quite ferocious and that is the reason why we see Cockatrice here with big, flaming eyebrows.
Acho seems to be quite a powerful mirage for the game, as it deals tremendous amounts of damage to foes. Since it is a water elemental mirage, it deals water-based attacks. And since it looks quite a lot like a penguin, one would think it would deal ice damage so don’t let the appearance deceive you. Now we wonder whether Leviathan is a part of this game or not.
World of Final Fantasy will release in North America on October 25, 2016 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita for $59.99 and $39.99, respectively. We will be getting the PS Vita version since we like to play our RPGs on the go. Let us know below in the comments section whether you’ll be getting the game on PS Vita or PS4.
