Last Summer, Zac and Shane tied the knot in the courtyard of Atalaya Castle at Huntington Beach State Park in South Carolina. "We go there regularly to see the castle and the alligators in the marsh. One of our favorite activities is to walk down 'alligator alley' and check out the birds and alligators. We do this at least twice a month," they said. It is fairly evident that the pair loves the outdoors, so the park was an ideal location for their outdoor wedding.
To add to the experience, the grooms had a lovely "first-look" moment. After getting ready, they each put on a blindfold and were escorted to a clearing where they stood back-to-back. They finally turned around and took off their blindfolds in an extremely emotional moment. Photographer Crystal Koehler was there to capture the beautiful experience, and the first-look photos turned out amazingly!
"The couple chose a floral bohemian garden theme for their ceremony and reception," said Crystal about the wedding. They truly did justice to their theme because the wedding was an explosion of color - especially with the handmade ribbon backdrop for their ceremony!
