The Pumpkin Spice Latte may want to sleep with one eye open, because Starbucks' newest Fall drink - the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew - just might steal its coveted spotlight. On Aug. 27, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew will join the Starbucks menu as the first new pumpkin-infused coffee drink since the chain first released its fan-favorite PSL back in 2003. (Yep, it's been 16 years!)
Although the abbreviation PCCB may not be quite as catchy as PSL, the beverage itself sounds pretty darn tasty, if I do say so myself. It combines Starbucks cold brew with vanilla, topped with frothy pumpkin cream cold foam and a sprinkling of pumpkin spice topping, making for a hard-to-resist sip that's sure to be a hit among cold coffee advocates.
The PCCB will be released in tandem with a handful of returning Starbucks Fall favorites, including the Salted Caramel Mocha, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Pumpkin Scone, Pumpkin Spice Madeleines, and of course, the beloved PSL that's practically synonymous with cozy autumnal mornings. Fall, we're more than ready to welcome you with open arms.
