Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has marked a “Kitchen Deals Day” today. The day, dedicated to countertop appliances, cookware, and kitchen tools, can help those who love to cook improve their wares.
After Amazon held its first-ever Prime Day — its annual one-day sale event in July — the online retailer hopes to tread the same path for its other divisions as well. Offering customers low-priced countertop appliances may help home chefs stock up on their kitchen items and give wedding guests an ideal package to buy gifts.
USA Today reports that the items to be enlisted as part of the Kitchen Deals Day include appliances such as the KitchenAid Professional 6000 Series stand mixer in black and red; KitchenAid 9-cup food processor, white; KitchenAid 3.5 cup food chopper, flamingo pink; KitchenAid 9-cup food processor, and T-fal OptiGrill stainless steel indoor electric grill.
The Cookware category offers discounted rates for All-Clad Professional MC² 10-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set; All-Clad Professional MC² 14-piece stainless steel cookware set; KitchenAid nonstick 12-piece cookware set, red; and KitchenAid nonstick 12-piece cookware set, red.
Other items that are part of its kitchen tools category include the KitchenAid 17-piece tools and gadget set; Hoan Bagel Guillotine Slicer; Misto Brushed Aluminum Olive Oil Sprayer; KitchenAid Shears with soft grip handles, black; KitchenAid Pizza Wheel, black; and the Farberware Classic 17-piece tool and gadget set.
Since the Kitchen Deals Day will last until the end of this month, we believe that the move will help Amazon further increase its customer base, and strengthen its position among others in the business. To its credit, the company’s previous event, Prime Day, went off without a hitch and received a good turnout, it’s expected that that the Kitchen Deals Day will receive a good response from its Prime customers, allowing it to ramp up its sales.
However, those who still have not signed up for the company’s Prime platform might not be able to take advantage of the deals. They can, instead, opt for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime, which allows them to get all their kitchen gadgets with free 2-day shipping. This serves as a great marketing strategy for Amazon Prime, helping it advertise the perks — such as free 2-day delivery benefits, and access to a range of other services — it offers its Prime subscribers.
