EA Sports FIFA 17 is releasing sometime next month and this time it is powered by Frostbite. In order to see the difference for yourself between previous Ignite Engine-powered titles, including last year’s FIFA 16, and how Frostbite changed things? Well, check out the Gamescom 2016 trailer below.
You can see the changes Frostbite has brought to the game. The visuals are more realistic than before. You can see the crisp graphics and the way players interact before matches, celebrations and the best part — managers. Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola , and Jose Mourinho can all be seen in action celebrating in style. Cover star Marco Reus shows off why he is worthy of the FIFA 17 cover with his excellent skills. The soundtrack of the trailer is “Song 2” by Blur; it’s a remix by Madeon.
The original version of the above song was featured first in Road to World Cup FIFA 98 so it brings back memories of the classic tie-in title to FIFA World Cup France’ 98. Honestly speaking, the remixed version suits the trailer and shows how much fun the game could be. The presentation, gameplay, and graphics all seem to come together very nicely. At the same time, The Journey mode featuring fictional Alex Hunter sounds very exciting. That one feature is new to the FIFA series and it could be one of the main reasons to invest in the annual franchise this year.
If you plan to get a new Xbox One console then you can wait till FIFA 17 is out because it will be bundled in two editions for the Xbox One S later next month. If the final game is as good as the trailer, we’re stoked. Other than that, we do think EA Sports has been hard at work in giving a truly new soccer experience to longtime and new fans.
Considering all we have seen so far we are truly looking forward to this masterpiece of a game. . FIFA 17 will release on September 27, 2016 on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
